The orphaned Georik Zaberisk - of the house of Zaberisk is a doctor who is of twenty-five years of age, and is of no little fame, having healed many of the dreaded Black Death during his time as Royal Physician, and was the youngest man to have won the fencing tournament. However, he resigned from his post to move out to the countryside to care for his sister Lillith, who suffers from Asthma. Recently, he has been requested by a one Bruno Glending to return to his post to serve under his king - and due to his debts, he might just have to do just that.
He is somewhat of an engima, a man who is firecely loyal and protective of his country and those to him (mainly Lillith, and his two friends, Mikhail Ramphet, and St Germant Cressl (his sister's fiancee), but yet quite capable of drawing a weapon against another easily. Some may describe his humor as morbid, liking to tease and provoke others - though perhaps his prideful and stubborn nature makes him do that. Georik in all his proud nature had a certain naviety to him that does endear him to others.
